Lately I have been into crochet again (nooooooh, really???) and the cheerful birdie-polkadot patterns have been rreplaced with natural colors and zakka style minimalist items. Like these.

These are some sort of coasters. They are a little bigger, so you can also use them as a potholder (not for really hot items, obviously, but they will do for a teapot). I initially made them because I was fed up with the puddles of water you get when you have a cold drink. They work great for that.

It is pretty hard to find a nice way to photograph astack of white crochet coasters for Etsy. So I resorted to the Munchkins toys.
